After much discussion QCDYC has moved cy:net_ to a new home here on Cathnet. There is still an opportunity for the regular discussions which cy:net_ is famous for, but now there are even more great features of the site.
Cathnet is based on Web2 technology where users build and maintain the website. This makes it easier for regular users to moderate and update cy:net_. Once registered users can develop new discussions and create new ways to interact as a community. You also have the responsibility to monitor and report unwanted behaviour to the webmaster.
One of the great new features is that each person who registers for Cathnet has ther own webpage based on your username. This is a great way to find out more about everyone in the community. So make sure you develop your own site by typing into the browser your username then ‘.cathnet.com’ e.g. mal.cathnet.com
